I use mainly oil on canvas . I also use acrylic paint . The choice depends on the subject and I let the specific quality of the painting envisioned dictate the choice of medium used.

I am most often drawn to still life and figurative representation. The spaces in and around the objects as well as the objects themselves create a living tension that resolves on the canvas.
